The Prairie Edge Museum Thrift Shop is convenient and well-located. It is an important component of the Museum, supporting both the museum and the community. On Saturdays, twice monthly, the first and third Saturdays, the Thrift Shop is open to the public from 9:00am to 1:00 pm. It is located on the west side of the Prairie Edge Museum at 408 East Main Street. Parking is available, and the volunteer staff will be there to assist you. Phone: 979-234-7442

Come in to shop or browse our large collection of items for sale. The proceeds from your purchase help to support the operation and programs of the Prairie Edge Museum. You will find men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, along with home items, including an assortment of linens, dishes, furnishings, and children’s toys and books.

The price is right at the Thrift Shop, so come in and save, and perhaps find a treasure or a gift for you or your family.

To Contribute Items: For those wishing to contribute items to the Thrift Shop, please bring them by 24/7 and drop your items in the convenient drop box behind the caboose and next to the front door of the Museum Thrift Shop. Your contributions are welcomed and your support is appreciated.
